How did you pick your instrument?
Well, I think more than I picked my cello, she picked me. First of all, my mom started learning cello when she had me in her womb, and my sister played cello when she was about 10 and I was 6, then I was fascinated by its sound.
What is your favorite aspect of being a classical musician?
The fact that I, as a musician, can share my feeling, expression, and even myself through music. Also, I like how we are being parts of a “museum” that is invisible, yet one of the most accessible art forms.
What do you hope to provide your audience with through your music?
My ultimate goal is that the music I make (or we make) brings people a certain unity among people for music is such an effective international language, which is crucial in this era we are living in, where we face so much of hatred, biases, prejudices, and stereotypes everyday.
