AYS is following guidelines from public health agencies and with our performance venues with regard to vaccination status and other precautions. Per LA PHIL, all audience members must show proof of vaccination (including booster dose if eligible*), as well as wearing masks indoors at all times, regardless of vaccination status. When providing proof of vaccination, ID is required to enter in conjunction for all those age 18 or older.
Starting January 18, all audience members who are eligible must have received a COVID-19 booster dose in addition to being fully vaccinated in order to attend performances.
-Moderna recipients ages 18-plus and Pfizer recipients ages 16-plus are eligible for a booster 6 months after their second vaccine dose.
-Johnson & Johnson vaccine recipients ages 18-plus are eligible for a booster 2 months after their initial vaccine.
-For more information, please see the CDC’s guidance on boosters here.
The new booster policy allows a one-month grace period to schedule and receive a booster dose upon becoming eligible. After one month has passed, entry will not be allowed until a booster has been received.
