John Powell: How to Train Your Dragon Original Score, live-to-picture

AYS’ annual Hollywood Project concert returns to Royce Hall with a live-to-picture performance of DreamWorks’ How To Train Your Dragon, featuring composer John Powell’s Oscar®-nominated score, and Mason Bates’ Philharmonia Fantastique, a 20-minute animated film about instruments of the orchestra.
Tickets to the 13th Annual Hollywood Project Concert are $18 for general admission, and AYS Members receive free tickets. Tickets must be reserved in advance. Walk-up tickets are unavailable at this time.
AYS Member tickets close on Friday, Nov. 5th 3:00pm PST. Please make your reservations before then.
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
AYS is following guidelines from public health agencies and with our performance venues with regard to vaccination status and other precautions. Per UCLA’s Royce Hall, all audience members must show proof of vaccination or have a lab-based negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event, as well as wearing masks indoors at all times, regardless of vaccination status. When providing proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 tests, ID is required to enter in conjunction for all those age 18 or older

Children

We realize that children under 12 are unable to be vaccinated right now, and must show proof of a lab-based negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event before entry. We wholeheartedly welcome music-lovers of all ages to our concerts whenever possible, but must also follow the public health safety regulations of our venues and jurisdictions.
