AYS’ annual Hollywood Project concert returns to Royce Hall with a live-to-picture performance of DreamWorks’ How To Train Your Dragon, featuring composer John Powell’s Oscar®-nominated score, and Mason Bates’ Philharmonia Fantastique, a 20-minute animated film about instruments of the orchestra.

CONCERT TICKETS

Tickets to the 13th Annual Hollywood Project Concert are free for AYS members and $18 for general admission. Stay tuned for when tickets will be available to reserve in early October. Reserve your tickets in advance. Walk-up tickets are unavailable at this time.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

AYS is following guidelines from public health agencies and with our performance venues with regard to vaccination status and other precautions. Per UCLA’s Royce Hall, all audience members must show proof of vaccination or have a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event, as well as wearing masks indoors at all times, regardless of vaccination status.

Children

We realize that children under 12 are unable to be vaccinated right now, and must show proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event before entry. We wholeheartedly welcome music-lovers of all ages to our concerts whenever possible, but must also follow the public health safety regulations of our venues and jurisdictions.

HONORING JOHN POWELL

Following the concert, join AYS for a special benefit event held at Royce Hall’s outdoor courtyard. At this celebratory and family-friendly event, we will recognize and honor the musical achievements of John Powell, composer of the Oscar®-nominated score of How To Train Your Dragon.

 

Concert and Dinner Packages start at $450.
