ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION

To participate in AYS, you must be at least 15 and not older than 27 (as of the date of your audition). Most AYS members are college or graduate students majoring in performance.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

AYS rehearsals are held most Saturday mornings during the concert season, from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm at UCLA. There is usually an additional Friday evening rehearsal and a Sunday morning dress rehearsal on concert weekends, for a total of 6 rehearsals (typically) per concert. Please consult the concert calendar (here) before you consider applying to ensure that you will be able to participate in all performances. Be aware that during the week of a listed performance, there are typically four services required (Friday evening, Saturday morning, Sunday morning and evening).
